The Biggest Valentine Ever Book Companion

Everyone loves the Biggest Pumpkin Ever, The Biggest Snowman Ever and of course for Valentine's Day, The Biggest Valentine Ever is a must read!
Here's what the story is all about!
Clayton and Desmond are two little mice in Mrs. Mousely's class. She has asked the children to make valentines. Clayton and Desmond try to work together, but they get angry and frustrated and end up tearing their valentine.
All children get frustrated, it's good to read a story where the characters experience the same things our children do. It helps them to understand how to deal with situations and emotions. The two mice go home and try to make valentines all alone, but realize that working with a friend is more fun. The grown ups in the story talk to the mice about working with friends. They suggest trying to work together again the next day at school.
The next day at school Desmond and Clayton bump into each other after they get off the bus. They make up and decide to work together on making the Biggest Valentine Ever. And guess what????? They have fun!
What a great lesson in working cooperatively for young learners!
I have designed a book companion to go along with The Biggest Valentine Ever at my Teachers Pay Teachers Store.
Here are a few of the materials included in the packet! I just love the BUMP game....have you ever played it?
